Editorial Policy

How WallStPal writes about filings: sources first, plain words, no predictions, and clear separation from advertising.

Sources first

Every number comes from a public filing or government dataset, and we link to it. Automated sentences on the site are built only from fields in those filings, using fixed templates. They state what was filed; they do not guess at motives.

No predictions, no tips

We describe what insiders and funds reported. We do not say whether a stock will rise or fall, and we do not make buy or sell recommendations.

Plain words

We write for people who are not finance professionals. When we use a term like "10b5-1" or "13F", we explain it.

Independence

Advertisers and partners have no say over what we publish or how we rank anything. Ads are labeled as advertisements. If we ever add partner links, they will be labeled too.

Corrections

We fix errors promptly and record significant ones on our corrections page.
